Huddle House has expanded its franchise sales staff to support an aggressive development campaign designed to significantly increase the number of locations over the next three years.

Jeff Hood, former director of franchise sales for Papa Murphy's Take and Bake Pizza, has joined the company as Director of Franchise Development. Cassidy Ford, former business development associate with How Do You Roll?, joins the Huddle House team as Franchise Development Manager.

Huddle House, which has 378 restaurants in 21 states primarily throughout the southeast, central, midwest and southwest United States, has set a goal of opening more than 100 restaurants over the next three years.

"The addition of Jeff and Cassidy reflects our focus on growing the franchise system," said Huddle House CEO Michael Abt. "Each brings experience and an expertise that will be needed as we increase the pace of our expansion over the next few years."

Founded in 1964, Huddle House, Inc. is celebrating 50 years as a full-service family restaurant franchise known for serving "Any Meal. Any Time." Typically open 24-hours, Huddle House serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. The menu offers a mix of Southern inspired comfort food, including signature Big House breakfasts, crispy hash browns, creamy grits, golden waffles and fluffy omelets, all made to order. Other favorites include Big Bold Burgers, Big House sandwich platters, country fried steak with green beans and marinated grilled chicken with sweet potato fries.

The core values on which Huddle House was founded – serving quality food in a warm, friendly environment that brings the community together – remain intact today.
