OC of Michigan, Inc. Expands Its Old Chicago Presence in Michigan with Opening of Portage Restaurant
Old Chicago donated $4,140 from pre-grand opening events to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kalamazoo
OC of Michigan, Inc., a franchisee of Old Chicago – the made-from-scratch American fare and beer authority known for its World Beer Tour ™ and 110 unique, cold beers – opened its fourth Old Chicago restaurant in Michigan on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 11 a.m. EST. The new restaurant is located at 5314 S. Westnedge Ave. in Portage and adds to the Okemos, Kentwood and Southgate Old Chicago Michigan locations already operated by OC of Michigan, Inc.
To celebrate the Portage Old Chicago opening, the new restaurant hosted several pre-grand opening festivities, including neighborhood lunch and dinner events. During each invite-only event all donations and a portion of sales benefitted Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kalamazoo. During the course of the events, $4,140 was raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kalamazoo, to enable young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
