Baia Restaurant in Somers Point Grand Opening
Baia is the culinary creation of Ed Bonsignore, Jr. (Executive Chef and Owner of Samantha's in Jupiter, Florida) and Sean Weinberg (Executive Chef and Owner of Alba Restaurant in Malvern, Pennsylvania). These acclaimed chefs were brought together by Baia owner, Gary Holloway Sr.
Friday, May 13th Baia Restaurant in Somers Point, NJ will host their official Grand Opening.
Baia is the culinary creation of Ed Bonsignore, Jr. (Executive Chef and Owner of Samantha's in Jupiter, Florida) and Sean Weinberg (Executive Chef and Owner of Alba Restaurant in Malvern, Pennsylvania). These acclaimed chefs were brought together by Baia owner, Gary Holloway Sr.
"When I visit Jupiter, I would frequently dine at Samantha's, and locally at Alba. They are two of my favorite restaurants run by great people with fantastic food," remarked Holloway. "When the opportunity arose to open Baia, I knew immediately who I wanted running the restaurant. Sean and Ed are top chefs, and now Baia has them both."
A traditional Italian menu with bold flavors and hearty portions is featured inside the restaurant for lunch and dinner, accompanied by an extensive wine list. Outside, diners will enjoy a fun and fanciful deck menu, along with weekly live entertainment 4 nights a week, all overlooking the water. On Sundays, Baia will be turned into an island paradise, as Reggae Sundays charm patrons with great music and dancing, every week in the summer.
"We've been working tirelessly for this day," said Sean Weinberg. "We're excited for Friday's Grand Opening, and to begin showcasing some amazing dishes for our customers."
"We've got something for everyone on our menu," stated Ed Bonsignore. "This is a great place to bring families for dinner, or to hang out and get a drink on the deck with friends."
