Fired Up, Inc. Announces Management Update
Fired Up, Inc., owner, operator, and franchisor of Johnny Carino's Italian restaurants, announced today that Jerry Deitchle is stepping down as President and COO to relocate his family back to California and become CEO of another company.
Deitchle will remain a member of Fired Up's Board of Directors and will retain his equity investment in the Company. Fired Up co-founder and CEO Norman Abdallah will re-assume the responsibilities of Company president.
"Jerry added significant value to Fired Up during his tenure as President," said Abdallah. "While we will miss his day-to-day involvement with our business, we look forward to Jerry's continuing contributions to our Company as a member of our board."
"As I step down from day-to-day operating management responsibilities, the recent performance and future growth prospects of Fired Up and the Johnny Carino's restaurant concept have never been stronger," commented Deitchle. "During the past 12 months, our total revenues and operating cash flow have increased over 31% and 245%, respectively, and we are solidly on track to achieve our projected growth goals for the upcoming year. I am excited to remain a member of the Fired Up and Johnny Carino's family as a board member and investor."
Fired Up, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Norman Abdallah and Creed Ford. They currently own, operate and franchise 137 Johnny Carino's Italian restaurants in 25 states. Fired Up, Inc. has development agreements in place with 21 franchise partners to develop Johnny Carino's both domestically and internationally over the next 10 years making Fired Up, Inc. one of the fastest growing companies in the restaurant industry.
