Mr. Langteau, a 30-year restaurant veteran, was most recently President & CEO of AmeriKing, Inc., which at one time was the largest Burger King franchisee with more than 380 restaurants. During his tenure at AmeriKing, Mr. Langteau led the recapitalization and sale of assets as part of a major restructuring. Prior to his AmeriKing assignment, Mr. Langteau was President & COO of priszm brandz, inc. a Canadian company that owned and operated approximately 500 KFC, 200 Pizza Hut and 50 Taco Bell restaurants. Mr. Langteau also served in senior executive positions for Arby's Inc. and Burger King Corporation.

Argonne is a private equity firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. Argonne seeks to acquire and grow companies primarily in the restaurant and retail industries that will benefit strategically from both Argonne's capital resources and its expertise in site selection, development and financing of real estate assets. Argonne most recently completed the acquisition of 35 IHOP restaurants located throughout Texas and related development rights.

The combination of Mr. Langteau's operational strength and ability to run large franchise organizations together with Argonne's financial acumen and access to capital, solidly positions Marathon Restaurant Partners to pursue targeted restaurant acquisitions.

Specifically, Marathon Restaurant Partners is focusing on acquiring large platforms of operating restaurants in the Quick Service or Quick Casual segments, where additional growth opportunities are present in existing and new trade areas through future acquisition or development. Importantly, Marathon is interested in acquiring franchisees as well as franchisors owning a substantial number of company stores.
