Megu, the upscale chic modern Japanese restaurants with two Manhattan premiere locations -- one in the heart of Tribeca and the second in the Trump World Tower at the UN Plaza, is set to open in the tony Union Square Kowloon this October 1st, it was announced today by Foodscope President Hiro Nishida.

"We are very excited about this project for Megu outside the US, especially in an Asian market where we also have 45 restaurants in Tokyo. Megu's concept of offering the finest ingredients will carry to the new location in a more decadent fashion as we can offer local specialties that are not available in America," states President Nishida.

The two-level Hong Kong Megu will also feature a Sushi Bar, Kimono Bar, grill, bar and outdoor terrace to house 126 dining guests. The 7,000 square foot space will be designed by renowned architect Glamorous who designed both New York spaces.

Megu's strong Manhattan presence is further seeking to open in cities like London, Dubai, Las Vegas, and South Beach Miami. Megu also plans to make an announcement later this month on Kindai Tuna -- a new revolutionary tuna they will be offering exclusively in Megu Midtown.
