Zaxby's Set to Open Six New Locations in New Jersey
The first two of six planned locations are set to open up in South Jersey by summer 2025.
The Georgia-based fast food chain, Zaxby's, is planning its first foray into New Jersey, backed by the GSP Group headed by Premanand Gupta, a longtime resident of the state. The first two of six planned locations are set to open up in South Jersey by summer 2025.
Gupta and the GSP Group have a background in quick-service restaurant brands, including Dunkin' and Subway. Their first Zaxby's location will be just north of Philadelphia, marking the beginning of their efforts to bring the chicken-focused franchise to New Jersey.
Mike Mettler, Zaxby's Chief Development Officer, praised the partnership with GSP Group, citing their operational expertise and commitment to excellence as key factors in the brand's expansion into New Jersey.
Zaxby's has over 950 locations across 17 states and is known for its Chicken Fingerz, Zalads, wings, and signature sauces.
