Boxwood Partners, an investment bank, has advised Wonder Franchises, a Tucker's Farm Corporation subsidiary, on acquiring Pizza Factory. Pizza Factory is a franchisor of pizza restaurants primarily located in the Western United States. The franchise network comprises 110 locations and generates over $90 million in annual sales.

Pizza Factory has been a key player in the pizza restaurant industry since its establishment in 1979. The acquisition marks a significant milestone for Wonder Franchises, which aims to support the continued success of the brand and further scale its operations. Mary Jane (MJ) Riva, the current CEO of Pizza Factory, will retain her position post-acquisition and contribute to the franchise's growth alongside the Wonder team.

Adam Lewin, CEO of Wonder Franchises, highlighted the potential for further expansion across the western US while maintaining the quality and consistency of Pizza Factory's products. This acquisition is Wonder Franchises' second in the past three months.

Kyle Tucker, Founder of Tucker's Farm Corporation, praised Boxwood for its understanding of the franchise space and its role in developing the Wonder platform. This acquisition marks Boxwood's first restaurant transaction since the sale of SweetFrog in 2018. Boxwood Partners has facilitated numerous transactions within the franchise industry and is a trusted advisor to both franchisors and franchisees.
