White Castle to Open First Texas Location in 2026

White Castle has announced plans to establish its first restaurant in Texas, with the new location set to open in The Colony in 2026. The restaurant will be situated at Grandscape, near the intersection of Destination Drive and Grandscape Boulevard. This expansion marks the first time in the company's 104-year history that it will operate in Texas.

The new White Castle location is expected to create between 80 and 100 jobs. The company has been recognized with the Great Place to Work Certification for five consecutive years. The restaurant will offer the chain's signature menu items, including the Original Slider, Crispy Chicken Slider, and Panko Breaded Fish Slider, as well as breakfast sliders available throughout the day.

White Castle currently owns and operates 335 restaurants across the United States. The decision to expand into Texas is part of the company's strategic growth plan. The new location in The Colony will serve as a significant milestone in White Castle's expansion efforts.

The announcement was made during a special event attended by White Castle's leadership team, local business and civic leaders, and other guests.
