White Castle Debuts New Restaurant Prototype in Columbus

White Castle has unveiled its latest restaurant prototype, the "Castle of Tomorrow," located near downtown Columbus, Ohio. This new design aims to improve customer experience, team member comfort, and operational efficiency. The site has been serving customers for 40 years and has now been reimagined in collaboration with WD Partners, a firm based in central Ohio.

The prototype features a modern dining room with higher ceilings, vibrant colors, and an open layout. A dedicated mobile order pickup window has been introduced to streamline the experience for customers using the Craver Nation Rewards app. At the same time, a double drive-thru includes hospitality doors for meal delivery directly to vehicles.

Inside the restaurant, the kitchen has been redesigned to enhance efficiency and ergonomics for team members. The facility also incorporates advanced technology, including a robotic fry station assistant and an AI-powered drive-thru ordering system. Self-service kiosks are available for customer convenience.

The exterior design maintains traditional White Castle architecture with updated accents and lighting. A new brand sign changes from "White Castle" during the day to "Night Castle" after dark, reflecting the company's late-night service identity.
