Wendy's to Expand with 190 New Restaurants in Italy and Armenia
Wendy's has finalized franchise agreements to open 190 new restaurants in Italy and Armenia by 2035.
The Wendy's Company has announced the completion of franchise agreements to establish up to 190 new restaurants across Italy and Armenia. This initiative is part of the company's strategy to increase its global presence, aiming to reach 2,000 international locations by 2028.
In Italy, Wendy's has partnered with Your Food S.R.L to open 170 new restaurants by 2035. The first two locations are scheduled to open in Milan by mid-2026. This agreement marks a significant expansion for Wendy's in the European market.
In Armenia, Wendy's has signed an agreement with Wen Restaurant LLC to develop 20 new locations by 2030. The first restaurant in Armenia is expected to open in Yerevan's city center.
These developments align with Wendy's goal to achieve 70% of its unit growth outside the United States. The agreements with Your Food S.R.L and Wen Restaurant LLC are intended to strengthen Wendy's presence in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.
The expansion in Italy and Armenia is part of Wendy's broader strategy to increase its international footprint and enhance its market presence in new regions.
