Texas De Brazil Launches New Restaurant at MovieTowne Mall in Guyana

Texas de Brazil has opened its first restaurant in Georgetown, Guyana, marking its entry into the local dining scene. The new establishment is situated within MovieTowne Mall, a prominent shopping and dining venue in the area. This location is part of the company's expansion strategy to introduce its churrasco-style dining to new markets.

The restaurant operates in partnership with the DACHIN Group of Companies, with which Texas de Brazil has collaborated since opening its first location in Trinidad in 2011. The Georgetown restaurant offers a continuous dining experience featuring various cuts of beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and sausage, all prepared over an open flame and served tableside by gauchos.

In addition to the meat offerings, the restaurant features a gourmet salad area with over 50 items, including imported cheeses, charcuterie, Brazilian black beans, seafood, and roasted vegetables. The dining experience is complemented by an award-winning wine list, rich in South American varietals, and a full bar offering craft cocktails, as well as a selection of spirits and beers.

The opening in Georgetown is part of Texas de Brazil's broader strategy to expand its presence internationally. The company currently operates 53 restaurants in 23 U.S. states, one in Puerto Rico, and eight international locations.
