Craveworthy Brands has announced the launch of a franchise program for Taim Mediterranean Kitchen, aiming to expand its presence in the United States. The initiative focuses on growth in strategic regions including Washington D.C., Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Taim Mediterranean Kitchen, established in New York City's West Village in 2005, currently operates 14 locations in major markets such as New York, Chicago, and Washington D.C. The franchise program is designed for experienced restaurant entrepreneurs, multi-unit franchise partners, and qualified owner-operators.

The Mediterranean cuisine segment has seen a 10.2 percent increase in consumer demand year-over-year as of the first quarter in 2025, according to Technomic data. Taim Mediterranean Kitchen aims to capitalize on this trend by offering a menu that includes vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and halal options. Recent menu additions include Beef and Lamb Shawarma, Baharat-Spiced Pita Chips, and Roasted Mushrooms.

Franchisees will have access to Craveworthy's support infrastructure, which includes supply chain solutions, training processes, marketing strategies, technology integration, and operational guidance. This support is intended to facilitate scalability and long-term success for franchise partners.

Craveworthy Brands, the parent company of Taim Mediterranean Kitchen, manages several other restaurant brands, including Wing It On!, The Budlong, Krafted Burger + Tap, and Genghis Grill. The company is focusing on expanding Taim's footprint in response to the growing demand for Mediterranean cuisine in the fast-casual dining segment.
