Taco John's, the Mexican quick-service restaurant chain, has opened its first metropolitan location in Boston at 77 Summer St. This move is part of a broader East Coast expansion plan, with 19 additional units planned for the Boston area. The expansion is being led by the Reliance Hospitality Group, seasoned multi-unit and multi-brand operators.
The partnership between Taco John's and Reliance Hospitality Group was cemented in 2021 when Arsal Jaffery, CEO and Co-founder of Reliance Hospitality Group, and Co-founder Deven Jadav signed a 22-unit development agreement for the Boston and Connecticut area. Jaffery brings nearly a decade of experience in the quick-service industry, while Jadav has 22 years of experience in the hotel industry.
After successfully opening two Taco John's locations in Lawrence and Leominster communities in 2023, the group has now expanded into Boston. A fourth location is underway and expected to open in the third quarter of 2025. The group is also actively selecting sites for its next five locations in the metro Boston area.
Reliance Hospitality Group is taking advantage of Boston's vibrant and growing economy. The region is projected to generate $150.8 billion in output in 2025, making it an ideal location for Taco John's expansion.
