SUSHISAMBA Returns to the US with Los Angeles Debut in 2025
The SUSHISAMBA Los Angeles will be located at The La Peer Building, 639 N La Peer Dr, West Hollywood CA 90069.
SUSHISAMBA, a global restaurant group known for blending Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian culture and cuisine, plans to open a new location in the United States for the first time since 2008. The restaurant will be located in the West Hollywood Design District in Los Angeles and will open in the summer of 2025.
The new location will allow guests to dine in a rooftop space with multi-level open-air dining, a captivating design, and a 360-degree view of the Los Angeles skyline. The location will also feature a retractable roof.
"We believe Los Angeles, with its cultural diversity and dynamic culinary scene, is the perfect place for the next phase of SUSHISAMBA," said Omar Gutierrez, Co-CEO of SUSHISAMBA Group.
The new 17,500 sq. ft. restaurant will be designed by Dizon Collective, inspired by the wave patterns of Roberto Burle Marx's Copacabana sidewalks in Rio de Janeiro. The venue will feature expansive sculptural trellises, a marble bar, a glass-wrapped sushi bar, and a robata grill for an engaging dining experience. There will also be a private dining room for intimate gatherings.
The menu, crafted under Corporate Chef John Um, will continue to blend Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian influences. The restaurant will feature new dishes along with popular signature offerings.
