261 fitness enthusiasts and Subway fans gathered at South View School in Dubai to set the world record within 13 minutes. After the physical activity, participants were treated to Subway's freshly made sandwiches. Among those who took part in the relay was Amal Bin Haidar, the former UAE Women's National Basketball Team captain.
Subway selected athletes Bin Haidar and Farah Jefry, a football player in KSA's Ittihad Ladies Football Club, to participate in the Footlongest Crunch Series campaign in the region. Zeinab Elamrawy, the Head of Marketing for the EMEA Master Franchise Markets, underscored Subway's commitment to promoting active living through delicious, wholesome food options. She highlighted the role of Subway's fresh, varied menu in supporting a balanced lifestyle.
The Footlongest Crunch Series, developed in collaboration with Doritos, is designed to appeal to the regional tradition of adding a crunchy element to sandwiches. The new series features two fresh subs, a salad, and the Footlong Loaded Doritos as a side dish. This is the latest addition to Subway's Series menu that offers a range of chef-curated sandwiches.
The Footlongest Crunch Series is available for a limited period in KSA, UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
