According to a report by data analytics company GlobalData, non-alcoholic beverage brands have emerged as the leading sponsors of soccer in the Americas. The study reveals that these brands account for 24% of all deals, followed by the automotive and banking sectors, each with 16%.

GlobalData's analysis shows that sponsorship agreements with non-alcoholic beverage companies are most prominent in North America. In contrast, South America sees a more diverse range of sponsors from various sectors.

The report further highlights that beer brands are not as dominant in soccer sponsorship despite being part of the beverage industry. They represent only a small portion of total sponsorships.

The study also notes that non-alcoholic beverage companies dominate due to their global presence and massive consumer base. These companies view soccer sponsorship as a strategic marketing move to reach their target audience.

GlobalData's report emphasizes that while non-alcoholic beverages lead in terms of volume, the automotive and banking sectors often offer higher-value deals. This is mainly due to their larger financial resources compared to other sectors.
