Smoothie King Promotes CFO Gavin Felder to President

Gavin Felder has been announced as the new President of Smoothie King. In addition to his new responsibilities, Felder will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer. This expansion of Felder's role reflects the company's ongoing growth and momentum and his significant contribution to shaping its long-term strategy.

Felder joined Smoothie King in May 2024, where he played a crucial role in implementing strategic growth initiatives and maintaining financial discipline. These efforts have further solidified the brand's performance. In his dual role as President and CFO, Felder will assume greater responsibility in the company's day-to-day management while overseeing its financial strategy.

With over 20 years of global leadership experience, Felder possesses extensive expertise in strategy, finance, brand-building, and franchise operations. Before joining Smoothie King, he spent 16 years at Yum! Brands, where he served in various roles, including Chief Strategy Officer and CFO of KFC Global.

The announcement of Felder's promotion comes as Smoothie King continues to showcase robust performance. In the first quarter of 2025, 13 new stores were opened in eight states, and 20 new stores were committed to 15 markets. 

Smoothie King recently introduced a new Hydration category in line with their product expansion. This includes three electrolyte-packed smoothies made with clean, functional ingredients and no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.

Established in 1973, Smoothie King is a Dallas-based company that currently operates over 1,200 stores nationwide.
