Smoothie King Names Claudia Schaefer As Chief Marketing Officer

Smoothie King, a large international smoothie brand, has named Claudia Schaefer its new Chief Marketing Officer. Schaefer brings a wealth of experience in transforming restaurant and retail brands, driving revenue growth, enhancing profitability, and improving customer experience.
In her new role, Schaefer will oversee all marketing efforts for Smoothie King. She will focus on refining the brand's purpose and positioning, using consumer insights to drive traffic and increase sales growth.
Before joining Smoothie King, Schaefer served as the Chief Experience Officer at Caliber, a $6 billion company. She also held positions as the CMO of several quick-service and casual dining restaurants, including Jamba and Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, where she achieved increased traffic and sales through strategic marketing initiatives. Schaefer's previous experience also includes leadership roles at Brinker International, the parent company of Chili's Bar & Grill.
Smoothie King, which opened 84 new stores in 2024, plans to expand in 2025, with a forecast of 105 new store openings across the country.
