Shipley Donuts has announced its expansion into Virginia and Missouri, marking the company's presence in 14 states. This development comes as the company reports its 18th consecutive quarter of positive sales growth as of the second quarter of 2025.
In June, Shipley Donuts opened a location in Lynchburg, Virginia, marking its entry into the state. Additionally, the company has signed an agreement to open its first location in Branson, Missouri, expected by early 2026. These expansions are part of a broader strategy to increase the brand's footprint across the United States.
The company plans to open over 40 new locations by the end of 2025, with 10 scheduled for the third quarter. This includes a new flagship store in Nashville's Nashville Yards development. Shipley Donuts also has more than 200 units in its development pipeline.
Earlier in 2025, Shipley Donuts opened its first location in North Carolina and signed a 30-unit development agreement to enter New Mexico and South Florida. Franchise opportunities are available in the South, Southeast, and Midwest regions for qualified operators.
