Second Cup Partners with Labatt and Station Agro-Biotech for Ready-to-Drink Lattes
Second Cup has collaborated with Labatt Breweries of Canada and Station Agro-Biotech to release a line of canned ready-to-drink lattes in Québec.
Second Cup, Labatt Breweries of Canada, and Station Agro-Biotech have introduced a new line of canned ready-to-drink lattes available at select retailers in Québec. The product launch includes three flavors: Latte, Mocha, and Salted Caramel.
The collaboration leverages the strengths of each company involved. Station Agro-Biotech is responsible for product development and production, utilizing its facilities in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec. Second Cup provides expertise in coffee, while Labatt Breweries manages distribution through its network and BEES digital platform.
The canned lattes contain 90 mg of caffeine per can and are made with Canadian cow's milk. They are gluten-free, preservative-free, and contain minimal ingredients, with sugar content starting at 17 grams, varying by flavor.
This product launch is part of a broader trend in the North American market, where canned coffee beverages are gaining popularity. The collaboration aims to offer a locally produced alternative to existing products from major American brands.
The ready-to-drink lattes are designed for convenience, targeting consumers looking for quick coffee options during office breaks, road trips, or study sessions.
