Sally's Apizza to Open New Location in Dorchester, MA

Sally's Apizza is set to open its latest location at South Bay Center in Dorchester, Boston, on September 30. The restaurant, located at 9 District Avenue, will begin operations at 5:00 p.m. on its opening day. Reservations for the opening night are required and can be made through OpenTable.

This new establishment marks Sally's Apizza's second location in Massachusetts, following the success of its Woburn site. The Dorchester restaurant will feature a menu that includes ten types of coal-fired pizzas, such as the Tomato Sauce Pie, Mozzarella & Tomato, and Potato & Rosemary. Additionally, the menu will offer a rotating selection of up to three seasonal pizzas.

Beyond pizza, the menu includes a variety of appetizers, salads, and entrees crafted by Chef Bret Lunsford. Options include Italian Wings with Calabrian Chili, House-Made Meatballs with whipped ricotta, and salads like Caesar and Classic Wedge. Entrees feature dishes such as Chicken Parmesan and pastas like Rigatoni Vodka and Tagliatelle Bolognese.

The restaurant will also offer a beverage program featuring a selection of wines, classic cocktails, and signature drinks, including Amalfi Lemonade and Sunday Sauced. Draft beer, non-alcoholic options, and fountain sodas, including New Haven's Foxon Park, will also be available.

The Dorchester location is designed to reflect the original Wooster Street restaurant's atmosphere, featuring a proprietary oven with a red and white tile pattern, honey oak wood-paneled walls, and caramel-colored leather booths. The dining room can accommodate over 100 guests, and a 12-seat bar is available. A seasonal patio with 36 seats is planned to open in the spring.

Sally's Apizza in Dorchester will operate seven days a week, offering lunch and dinner. Hours are Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Takeout and delivery services will commence on October 7.
