Roti Modern Mediterranean Opens First Delivery-Only Kitchen in Smyrna, Georgia
Roti Modern Mediterranean has opened its first delivery-only ghost kitchen in Smyrna, Georgia, to expand its reach across the Greater Atlanta area.
Roti Modern Mediterranean has announced the opening of its first delivery-only ghost kitchen in Smyrna, Georgia. The facility is designed exclusively for delivery and operates through third-party platforms such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.
The Smyrna ghost kitchen allows Roti to serve the Greater Atlanta area without a traditional dine-in location. The company stated that this model is intended to maximize kitchen efficiency and expand access to its menu throughout Metro Atlanta. The new kitchen is located northwest of downtown Atlanta, where Roti’s headquarters are based.
Ghost kitchens are delivery-only restaurant kitchens that operate without a storefront, enabling brands to reduce overhead and reach new neighborhoods. Roti’s Smyrna location is intended to strengthen its presence in its home market and support its strategy of expanding through non-traditional formats.
The company is offering $5 off first online or app orders to promote the opening, with the offer available through February 28.
Since being acquired by Edible Brands in February 2023, Roti has expanded in both traditional and non-traditional formats. In fall 2023, Roti secured a vendor partnership with Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, providing a limited menu at the venue. The company also recently launched a national franchising program targeting markets in Michigan, Ohio, the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, and Texas.
Roti currently operates 17 corporate-owned locations in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Minneapolis, as well as one location inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The company plans to continue expanding through single- and multi-unit franchise agreements.
Investment requirements for Roti franchising opportunities range from $494,300 to $813,700, including a $35,000 initial franchise fee. Franchisees may purchase development rights for a development fee of $35,000 plus a $15,000 deposit toward each additional restaurant’s franchise fee.
