Riko's Pizza has announced the grand opening of its upgraded full-service restaurant in Norwalk, Connecticut. The new restaurant, which moved from its previous take-out-only location, now offers a larger space with dining rooms, a large bar, and a dedicated takeout area, marking Riko's transition to a full-service model. The new location will be instrumental in the franchise's expansion plans across Connecticut and the country.

The new Riko's Pizza location at 85 New Canaan Ave in Norwalk expands upon the company's highly differentiated pizza franchise concept. The new restaurant retains the company's signature super-thin crust tavern-style pizzas, local neighborhood atmosphere, and various craft drinks in a more comprehensive, full-service format.

The new restaurant boasts a 4,600 square-foot space, designed to reflect Riko's iconic rustic-urban décor and embody the local community's character. Offering a complete Riko's Pizza menu, the restaurant features a 37-foot-long bar with 24 stools and 24 beers on tap, 16 large high-definition TVs, over 21 wines and specialty cocktails, and a convertible outdoor dining space. Furthermore, the venue can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests, making it suitable for large groups, kids' parties, fundraisers, live music, and other special events. It also provides a separate section for carry-out orders, ensuring a streamlined takeout and delivery services process.

The grand opening on March 13th was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Riko's Pizza founder and CEO Rico Imbrogno, Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling, and other notable guests. The opening event underscored Riko's commitment to serving the Norwalk community and enhancing customer experiences with its full-service model.

Carl Bachmann, President and COO of Riko's highlighted that transitioning their Norwalk location to a full-service model is a significant part of the company's expansion strategy and brand development. The winning full-service model will be the focus of their future expansion, both in Connecticut and across the country.
