Pizza Chain Riko's Pizza Debuts in Vermont with Burlington Location

Pizza chain Riko's Pizza has announced the opening of its first outlet in Vermont, located in Burlington. This is the eighth franchised outlet for the company, bringing the total number of locations to 12 across Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New York, and now, Vermont. The new outlet is at 83 Church Street in downtown Burlington, close to Lake Champlain and the University of Vermont.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on January 21 to open Riko's Pizza in Burlington officially. Several local dignitaries and community leaders, along with Riko's corporate leadership, attended the event.
The new outlet features a 5,000 square-foot restaurant with a capacity to serve 125 guests. The decor combines Riko's signature rustic-urban style with local elements. The restaurant has a 25-foot-long bar with 14 stools, offering 18 beers on tap, including local brews. Other features include 13 large TVs for sports fans, a complete Riko's Pizza menu, more than 14 wines and specialty cocktails, and a dedicated takeout and delivery section.
The Burlington location is a franchise owned by Thomas Jacobson, a Connecticut native and long-time fan of Riko's Pizza. Jacobson has 30 years of business leadership and operational experience.
Riko's Pizza in Burlington is open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The company's website provides more information about the new location.
