Peter Piper Pizza Pioneers Partnership to Propel STEM Education
Peter Piper Pizza is partnering with the Southern Arizona Research, Science and Engineering Foundation (SARSEF) to enhance STEM education for Arizona students through various in-restaurant programs and scholarships for STEM camps.

Peter Piper Pizza has announced a new partnership with the Southern Arizona Research, Science and Engineering Foundation (SARSEF). This collaboration aims to boost Arizona's students' STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education through various in-restaurant programs, STEM camp scholarships, and more.
This partnership comes in light of a study by the Arizona Daily Independent, which suggests that student scores in STEM subjects have remained stagnant over the years. In response to these findings, Peter Piper Pizza, a long-standing supporter of children's education, has provided STEM-focused field trips at its restaurants for over half a decade. These trips serve as an interactive platform for students to participate in activities that underscore the fundamentals of STEM education. The experiences range from Pizza Engineering and My Plate Nutrition to a Game Room Scavenger Hunt.
Asserting the brand's commitment to making STEM education accessible and engaging for all children, Peter Piper Pizza's Chief Marketing Officer, Genaro Perez, said, "Through our partnership with SARSEF, we can provide additional learning opportunities for students year-round, whether they're at summer camp or enjoying pizza at Peter Piper."
In celebration of the new partnership and Pi Day (14th March), an annual observance of mathematics, Peter Piper Pizza is offering a personal cheese pizza for just $3.14. This exclusive deal is available only at Arizona and Albuquerque locations, and customers must download the app to claim the offer. Peter Piper Pizza will also provide scholarships for SARSEF Summer STEM camps in June 2025 and supply meals for campers and special meal deals for their families.
SARSEF's Summer STEM Camp Director, Katherine Larned Ortega, expressed gratitude for the support from companies like Peter Piper Pizza. Ortega said their assistance helps recognize and empower current and future student scientists, engineers, and mathematicians.
Peter Piper Pizza donates over $600,000 annually to schools, hospitals, and nonprofits. In April 2024, the company also launched the Slice of Knowledge Foundation, raising almost $20,000 during its inaugural fundraising campaign to further support educational initiatives in underserved communities.
