Pete Suerken Appointed As President of Wendy's U.S. Operations
Pete Suerken has been appointed as the President of Wendy's U.S. operations, effective immediately, succeeding Abigail Pringle.
The Wendy's Company has announced the appointment of Pete Suerken as the President of its U.S. operations. This change is effective immediately, with Suerken reporting to interim Chief Executive Officer Ken Cook. Suerken takes over from Abigail Pringle, who has held the position since 2024 and will be leaving the company after a transition period.
Suerken previously served as the President and CEO of Wendy's Quality Supply Chain Co-op (QSCC), an independent purchasing cooperative for Wendy's, since 2021. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing supply chain and distribution activities for Wendy's restaurants globally. His career includes experience in the food, beverage, and restaurant industries, including a tenure as president of Resin Technology Inc. and 13 years at Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, the cooperative for Yum! Brands.
The leadership change comes as Wendy's focuses on enhancing customer experiences, increasing restaurant-level profitability, and accelerating growth in the U.S. market. The company is set to release its second-quarter results on August 8, 2025, as previously announced.
