OpenTable Introduces New Benefits in Loyalty Program Update
OpenTable has launched an updated loyalty program, OpenTable Regulars, offering new ways for diners to earn and redeem points.
OpenTable has announced the launch of its revamped loyalty program, OpenTable Regulars, which introduces new features for diners and restaurants. The program, available to all OpenTable users, allows diners to earn points for every reservation completed on the platform. Each booking earns 100 points, with select reservations offering up to 1,000 points.
In select global markets, diners can use their points toward prepaid experiences such as set menus, wine tastings, or dinner-and-a-show events. In the United States, points can be applied to dining checks. Additionally, points can be exchanged for Amazon gift cards in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, and Germany.
The program also introduces a new loyalty tier, Gold status, offering enhanced benefits for frequent diners. To achieve Gold status, users must complete six reservations within 12 months. Benefits for Gold members include priority notifications for last-minute restaurant openings and a six-month complimentary Uber One membership in select markets, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, Mexico, Germany, and Ireland.
A new online and in-app loyalty hub will allow users to track their points balance, access exclusive benefits, and redeem rewards. The updated program aims to drive repeat business for restaurants while providing diners with more options for redeeming points and accessing perks.
