Ono Hawaiian BBQ to Open First Texas Location in Plano

Ono Hawaiian BBQ will open its first Texas restaurant in Plano on July 24 at 8724 Preston Rd. The location will feature a drive-thru and offer dine-in service.

The Plano restaurant is the company’s first in Texas, expanding Ono Hawaiian BBQ’s footprint beyond California and Arizona. The menu will include BBQ Chicken, BBQ Beef, Kalbi Short Ribs, Island Fire Chicken, Chicken Katsu, seafood options, and Spam Musubi, all served with two scoops of rice and macaroni salad.

The Plano opening is the first of multiple planned Texas locations as part of the company’s national growth strategy.

A grand opening celebration will be held on July 24, featuring a buy one, get one free offer all day and a Hawai‘i-inspired giveaway that includes two tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Auana and a stay at OUTRIGGER Waikīkī Beachcomber Hotel.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ was founded in 2002 and operates more than 130 locations in California and Arizona.
