The acquisition follows OneRyan Global's purchase of the corporate-owned Mr Gatti's restaurant at South Park Meadows in Austin, Texas, in October 2023. That transaction completed Mr Gatti's transition to a fully franchised system, with all corporate-owned locations re-franchised. OneRyan Global also owns the Mr Gatti's Family Entertainment Center in Big Spring, Texas.
Following the acquisition, G. Brint Ryan will serve as Chairman, and Amanda S. Ryan will serve as Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Managers for Mr Gatti's Pizza. The company stated that its corporate headquarters will remain in Fort Worth, Texas. The current leadership team, including Jim Phillips as Chief Executive Officer and KC Mann as Chief Financial Officer, will remain in place. No changes to the senior management team are anticipated as a result of the transaction.
Mr Gatti's Pizza operates more than 200 active and forthcoming locations in Texas and the Southeastern United States. The company did not disclose any plans to change its franchise network or operational strategy as part of the acquisition.
