Chicken Salad Chick has announced the opening of its first branch in the New Orleans area. The new outlet, located at 3005 Veterans Boulevard, Metairie, near the Lakeside Mall and Trader Joe's, is set to open its doors on April 22. The restaurant opening will be celebrated with the first 100 guests receiving free chicken salad for a year.
Chicken Salad Chick has planned a week of exclusive deals and giveaways to commemorate the grand opening. These include free chicken salad for a year for the first 100 guests on April 22, free tote bags, tumblers, and quick chicks on subsequent days.
The Metairie outlet is the first venture for the Nibbles Hospitality Group in collaboration with Chicken Salad Chick. The group is led by two husband-and-wife teams, Bill and Anne DiPaola, and Tiffany and Paul Spring, who plan to open four more outlets in the New Orleans market. They were drawn to the Chicken Salad Chick brand due to its Southern-style offerings, family-friendly atmosphere, and commitment to community service.
Chicken Salad Chick offers a variety of made-from-scratch chicken salad flavors along with fresh side salads, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches, and desserts. The Metairie restaurant will provide in-restaurant and outdoor patio dining, drive-thru, curbside, take-out, third-party delivery, and catering services.
As part of its commitment to the community, the Metairie team, in association with the Chicken Salad Chick brand, will raise funds for the Career Immersion & Leadership Institute (CILI). This local non-profit supports New Orleans area college students. The new restaurant will be open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 8pm.
