New Chicken Salad Chick Location Opens in Edmond, Stepping Up Oklahoma Expansion
The new restaurant, located at 1110 E 2nd Street in Edmond, will celebrate its grand opening on May 6, 2025, with weekly giveaways and specials.
Chicken Salad Chick has announced the opening of its seventh location in Oklahoma, at 1110 E 2nd Street near Target and Lowe's Home Improvement in Edmond. The grand opening will be held on May 6, 2025, and the restaurant plans to offer the first 100 guests a year's supply of free chicken salad.
Troy Morrison, a restaurant franchise owner who manages over 100 Taco Bell and Wingstop outlets, owns and operates the Edmond restaurant. Morrison has ambitious expansion plans for Chicken Salad Chick, having secured the rights to four additional locations across the Oklahoma City and Tulsa markets. This location marks his fourth opening and the third in the Oklahoma City market under his Meauxmentum Strategies and Investments franchise group.
Morrison's portfolio of Chicken Salad Chick restaurants has been growing rapidly, with recent launches in Moore and Oklahoma City in August and October 2024, respectively. His expansion extends beyond Oklahoma; in early 2025, he acquired the rights to develop 14 additional locations across Austin, TX, and Indianapolis, IN. His most recent endeavor was opening his third location in Pflugerville, TX, in late-March 2025.
The Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Edmond will be open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 8pm.
