As of October 2025, Millie's operates 20 locations, which include brick-and-mortar shops, food trucks, and specialty venues.
The partnership involves Millie's joining Franchise FastLane's CarPool program, which provides franchise development coaching and administrative services. This program is designed to support emerging and established brands in refining their processes and expanding their reach. Franchise FastLane launched the CarPool program in 2023 to help brands manage their development pace while utilizing FastLane's systems.
Millie's decision to franchise began in 2021, following organic growth and demand from its customer base. The company has focused on perfecting its distribution and manufacturing processes, and the CarPool program is seen as a strategic step to facilitate further expansion. The program offers support in areas such as lead qualification, territory mapping, and compliance issues, while also providing access to Franchise FastLane's MasterMind program for networking and idea-sharing among franchise partners.
Franchise FastLane, established in 2017, has been involved in awarding over 9,000 franchise units and placing more than 3,600 entrepreneurs into ownership roles. The company partners with approximately two dozen franchisors in its full-service FastLane program and works with 14 brands through the CarPool program.
The collaboration between Millie's Homemade Ice Cream and Franchise FastLane aims to leverage the CarPool program's resources to identify franchise partners who align with Millie's focus on hospitality and community connection.
