Fast-casual restaurant chain Tropical Smoothie Cafe has announced the opening of its 1,500th cafe. The latest outlet is located at 3630 Browns Bridge Road in Cumming, Georgia and is set to have its grand opening event on November 15.
The new cafe will be managed by multi-unit franchisee Mike Haines, who already operates seven other Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations. Haines joined Tropical Smoothie Cafe in 2015, drawn by the brand's emphasis on freshly prepared food, excellent service, and community involvement.
Max Wetzel, CEO of Tropical Smoothie Cafe, attributes the brand's growth to dedicated franchisees like Haines. Wetzel expressed excitement for the milestone opening in Georgia and anticipates the new cafe's success in the future.
The grand opening event will feature exclusive giveaways for attendees, a live steel drummer, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce at 11 a.m. To mark the 1,500th location, Haines will donate $1,500 to Meals by Grace, a local non-profit organization supporting children facing food insecurity. Tropical Smoothie Cafe will match this donation, contributing $1,500 to its partnered nonprofit, No Kid Hungry.
Haines expressed his honor to be part of this significant achievement for the brand and looks forward to bringing the Tropical Smoothie Cafe experience to the Cumming community.
