Jersey Mike's has announced the appointment of Michele Allen as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective December 1, 2025. Allen will take over the role from Walter Tombs, who is set to retire in January 2026 after a 26-year tenure with the company. Tombs will remain with the company as an advisor during the transition period.
In her new position, Allen will oversee Jersey Mike's global finance operations, supply chain, and enterprise performance management. Her appointment comes as the company plans to expand its presence both in the United States and internationally. Allen's extensive experience in financial leadership within the hospitality and franchising sectors is expected to support Jersey Mike's growth strategy.
Before joining Jersey Mike's, Allen served as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategy at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Her career began at Deloitte as an auditor, where she earned her CPA. Allen's background includes leading finance, enterprise-wide strategy, financial partnerships, and strategic sourcing.
This leadership change is part of Jersey Mike's broader strategy to bolster its executive team. Recent appointments include Stacy Peterson as President and Chief Operating Officer, Betsy Mercado as Chief People Officer, and Andy Skehan as President of International. These moves are aimed at supporting the company's franchise-first growth model and enhancing its global expansion efforts.
Jersey Mike's currently operates over 3,100 locations in the U.S. and Canada and plans to expand its footprint in key international markets further.
