Metro Diner Opens Lecanto, FL Location
Metro Diner has opened its first Lecanto restaurant at Summit View at Corta Commons, with initial daily hours from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The restaurant is located at 3351 W. Norvell Bryant Hwy. in Summit View at Corta Commons. The 3,710-square-foot location seats 134 guests indoors and 24 guests on an outdoor patio.
Managing Partner Melissa Deskins owns and operates Lecanto. Deskins has more than 20 years of restaurant experience and holds degrees in culinary arts and baking and pastry.
Metro Diner Lecanto is initially open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant plans to expand its hours to 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. after adding dinner service.
The all-day menu includes omelets, pancakes, breakfast platters, BBQ ribs and burgers made with 100% Angus beef. Menu items include the Fried Chicken & Waffle, consisting of fried chicken served on a Belgian waffle with strawberry butter and a sweet-and-spicy sauce.
Other offerings include the Bissell Breakfast, served with eggs, hash browns, sausage patties, toast and a short stack of pancakes.
The Iron City Meatloaf was featured by Guy Fieri on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”
Deskins plans to support local schools, family-focused organizations and community events and become a member of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce.
The Lecanto opening adds a Citrus County location for Metro Diner, which operates more than 60 locations east of the Mississippi.
