Metro Diner Opens First Location in Evansville, Indiana

Metro Diner has launched its first Evansville location, marking the brand's expansion into the area. The new diner is situated at 945 N. Burkhardt Road in Lillian Plaza and occupies a 3,600-square-foot space. The establishment is managed by Chris Wyatt, a partner with experience in operating Metro Diner locations.

The Evansville Metro Diner offers a menu featuring various American comfort foods. The menu includes items such as loaded omelets, biscuits and gravy, specialty burgers made with Angus beef, and signature dishes like Iron City Meatloaf and Fried Chicken & Waffle. The diner has been recognized nationally, including a feature on the Food Network show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives."

The new location provides seating for 96 guests indoors and an additional 24 seats on the patio. Initially, the diner will operate from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for breakfast and lunch, with plans to extend dinner service to 8 p.m. in the coming weeks.
