Marco's Pizza has announced the opening of 41 new stores in the first half of 2025, marking a significant expansion for the company. This development is part of a broader strategy that includes both domestic growth and international milestones.

The company has focused on strategic real estate development to facilitate this expansion. Joe Stephens, who was recently appointed as Vice President of Real Estate, is leading efforts to support franchisees in site selection and other real estate matters. Stephens, a veteran with 13 years at Marco's, is utilizing predictive tools and consumer behavior insights to identify potential markets for new stores.

In addition to domestic growth, Marco's Pizza is also expanding internationally. The company has marked one year since opening its first location in Mexico and ten years of operations in Puerto Rico. Grupo Pizza Amantes SA de CV, a master franchise partner, is leading the expansion in Mexico. By the end of the year, the company expects to have three to four locations in Mexico. Currently, Marco's operates 66 locations across the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, with plans to target further growth in Latin America and Canada.

Franchisee interest remains strong, with nearly 65% of 2024 signed agreements coming from existing franchisees. To support further expansion, Marco's has introduced a Franchise Development Royalty Incentive Program. This program aims to reduce barriers for qualified multi-unit owners by offering early-stage royalty incentives and support in real estate, construction, and operations.

The company is also focusing on training and development through its "We're Golden" program, which aims to train franchisees across 700 stores by the end of 2025. This initiative is designed to enhance in-store culture and support franchisee teams.

Marco's Pizza continues to invest in community initiatives through the Marco's Pizza Foundation. The foundation has surpassed its fundraising goals, with donations exceeding $530,000 to Junior Achievement USA, focusing on school and education, hunger prevention, workforce development, and entrepreneurship.
