Beard Papa's, a Japanese chain known for its cream puffs, is opening a new location in New York City's Financial District. The grand opening is set for Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10 AM.
The chain, which started in Osaka, Japan, in 1999, now operates over 485 stores in 15 countries, thanks to its sought-after cream puffs. These treats, made-to-order at Beard Papa's, come in various shell flavors, including original, chocolate éclair, green tea éclair, strawberry éclair, honey butter éclair, OREO® cookie crumble éclair, dulce de leche éclair, and ube. Customers can then fill these shells with a selection of cream custard fillings.
In addition to cream puffs, the new Financial District store will offer items like crème brûlée, fondant lava cakes, savory desserts, limited-time flavors, and beverages. Mark Nathan, Marketing Director for Beard Papa's, stated that the company's cream puffs are baked fresh on-site daily and are larger than the average cream puff.
The first 100 customers at the new location on grand opening day can expect to receive a free gift. The Financial District store is located at 29 John Street Space D, New York, New York. Other NYC locations are at 11 St Marks Place, and 239 E 53rd.
