IKEA Implements Price Cuts at Restaurants Across Multiple Markets
IKEA has announced a reduction in restaurant meal prices by 50% in several markets, with children eating for free, as part of efforts to address cost-of-living pressures.
IKEA, operated by Ingka Group, is implementing a significant price reduction in its restaurant meals across various markets. The initiative aims to support customers amid rising living costs. Meal prices will be halved from Monday to Friday. Additionally, children will be able to eat for free during these days.
The price adjustment is part of IKEA's broader strategy to enhance the in-store experience and provide affordable dining options. For instance, in France, the cost of a family meal, including two adult meals with meatballs and two children's meals, will be reduced from EUR 19.9 to EUR 6.96. Furthermore, restaurant guests will receive a EUR 5 voucher for in-store use.
IKEA is also updating its menu to include new dishes inspired by Asian flavors, emphasizing affordable and healthy options. The company plans to introduce its first falafel dish, which will be available in restaurants and later in Swedish Food Markets.
This initiative is being rolled out in several countries, including Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.
