Hawaiian Bros Marks Expansion in Iowa with Waukee Location

Hawaiian Bros has announced the grand opening of its first franchise location in Waukee, Iowa, on March 10, 2025. This new location represents the second Hawaiian Bros restaurant established by BraveHart Development LLC in the Iowa market.

The grand opening will include a celebration at the Waukee location at 1005 SE Alice's Rd. The first 100 customers will receive a free t-shirt and a Hawaiian Bros gift card between $25 and $500. Additionally, one fortunate winner will receive Hawaiian Bros meals for a year. Following the grand opening, the Waukee restaurant will operate from 11 am to 10 pm from Sunday to Thursday and extend its closing time to 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

A VIP event is scheduled for March 8, during which first responders, medical staff, educators, students, and local business employees will receive a complimentary classic Plate Lunch.

BraveHart Development has an ambitious plan to establish 10 locations across Iowa in the coming years, bringing its island-inspired flavors and the Aloha Spirit to the local communities.

Hawaiian Bros is renowned for its island-inspired plate lunches. These meals feature a choice of juicy chicken or pork glazed with various sauces, served with macaroni salad, steamed white rice or vegetables, and a tropical Dole Soft Serve dessert. The restaurant takes pride in its use of high-quality, fresh ingredients and avoids using freezers or microwaves, distinguishing it from other fast-casual restaurants in the area.
