Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop Kitchen Opens First New York Location, Expands Beyond California

goop kitchen opened its first New York City location in Midtown West on April 20, marking the brand's initial expansion outside California. The restaurant operates on a delivery-only model, without a traditional dining room, and is designed specifically for delivery and takeout.

The company plans additional locations across Manhattan and Brooklyn, with these expansions expected to double its footprint in the coming year. New sites will include delivery, takeout, and dine-in options, with openings planned throughout 2026.

Founded in 2021 by Gwyneth Paltrow, goop kitchen offers a menu developed by Vice President of Culinary Chef Kim Floresca, who has experience in Michelin-starred kitchens. The menu is designed for delivery, with dishes tested to maintain quality after up to 45 minutes of travel. Packaging is engineered to preserve texture and temperature, including built-in compartments for dressings and large salad bowls for mixing at home.

Since its launch in Los Angeles, goop kitchen has expanded across the region and into the Bay Area, where it recently opened its highest-performing location to date. The company serves more than 40,000 guests each week and reports strong repeat behavior across its markets.

To mark its New York debut, goop kitchen is launching a campaign called "Made for New York," promoted across digital, social, and out-of-home channels. The Midtown West location serves adjacent neighborhoods and is available for delivery and takeout through the company’s website and major third-party apps.
