Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has added Rafik Farouk as Vice President of Business Development and Jackie Lobdell as Vice President of Franchise Sales to its development leadership team. The appointments are intended to support the company’s ongoing expansion efforts.
Farouk will be responsible for driving expansion across both new and existing markets. He has nearly 30 years of experience in restaurant operations and franchise development strategies, with a focus on global growth. Farouk’s operational and development background will be involved as Freddy's continues to expand into new channels and builds on its recent international debut.
Lobdell will focus on identifying prospective franchisees and guiding them through the discovery process as the company expands its footprint. She has a 10-year background in franchise development within the restaurant sector, along with earlier experience in advertising and marketing. Her responsibilities will center on franchise recruitment and engagement.
The addition of Farouk and Lobdell brings more than four decades of restaurant industry experience to Freddy's development team. The company is approaching 600 restaurants and is actively seeking single and multi-unit franchisees. Freddy's has over 580 locations across the United States and Canada.
