Francois Leroux Appointed to New Executive Role at Culinary Institute of America
The Culinary Institute of America has appointed Francois Leroux as Vice President—Consumer Businesses and Chief Guest Experience Officer.
The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) announced the appointment of Francois Leroux to the newly created position of Vice President—Consumer Businesses and Chief Guest Experience Officer. In this role, Leroux will oversee the Institute’s consumer-facing businesses, which include food and beverage enthusiast programs, retail activities, visitor experiences, and food and beverage operations in New York and at CIA’s US branch campuses.
According to the announcement, Leroux’s responsibilities will include managing and developing programs and services for consumers, as well as operational oversight of related activities across multiple CIA locations in the United States.
Leroux’s previous experience includes work with companies in the entertainment, hospitality, food and beverage, reality television, and media sectors. The announcement states that his work has involved theme parks, cruise lines, stadiums, and festivals. Most recently, Leroux served at Carnival Corporation, where he led the launch of the Ocean Medallion wearable technology, contributed to the creation of Emmy-nominated shows, and delivered a keynote at the Consumer Electronics Show.
Leroux holds a degree in Law from the University of Quebec in Montreal and a degree in Human Sciences from the College Edward Mont-Petit in Longueuil, Quebec.
