Fast-casual Mexican restaurant QDOBA has announced the appointment of Kevin Carroll, former Applebee’s COO, as its new Chief Operating Officer. Carroll will manage QDOBA's operations strategy and execution across approximately 800 U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada restaurants.
This appointment comes as the company reported a 7.7% increase in comparable sales for its fiscal year ending in September 2024, following a 6.3% growth in the previous year.

Carroll's appointment comes at a time of significant growth for QDOBA, which has plans to double its current size to more than 1,600 restaurants over the next decade. Carroll brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served as COO for Applebee's Grill & Bar for the past seven years.
