Firehouse Subs Opens 1,400th Location in Clearwater, Florida

Firehouse Subs has announced the opening of its 1,400th restaurant, located at 2849 Gulf to Bay Blvd Unit B in Clearwater, Florida. This development is part of the brand's ongoing expansion across the United States and internationally.

The Clearwater location is operated by Colin Means, a franchisee in the Tampa area. Means began his career with Firehouse Subs as a team member at age 21 and progressed to become a franchisee in 2020. He currently owns five Firehouse Subs restaurants in Pinellas County and plans to open a sixth location in Seminole in December. Further expansion is planned for 2026.

The Clearwater restaurant operates from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Firehouse Subs was founded in 1994 in Jacksonville, Florida, and has been franchising since 1995. The brand is a subsidiary of Restaurant Brands International Inc., which also owns Burger King, Tim Hortons, and Popeyes.
