Firehouse Subs Expands Incentive Programs for Franchisees Through 2026
Firehouse Subs has announced new financial incentives for franchisees, including programs for veterans and first responders, to support expansion through 2026.
Firehouse Subs has introduced updated financial incentive programs aimed at supporting the growth of its franchise network. The 2026 Development Incentive Program offers financial benefits to both new and existing franchisees. Under this program, franchisees can receive $75,000 in cash for opening a single new location in 2026. Those who commit to opening two or more locations in the same year are eligible for $100,000 per restaurant.
Additionally, Firehouse Subs has extended its Veteran and First Responder Development Incentive Program through 2026. Initially launched in 2024, this program provides qualifying veterans and first responders with up to $100,000 in cash for each new restaurant they open. This initiative is designed to alleviate initial financial challenges and assist franchisees in establishing their businesses.
The incentive programs require participants to sign a Development Agreement with Firehouse Subs by December 31, 2025. These efforts are part of Firehouse Subs' strategy to expand its presence and introduce its offerings to more communities. The company is actively seeking both experienced multi-unit operators and new entrepreneurs to join its franchise network.
Firehouse Subs is a subsidiary of Restaurant Brands International, Inc., which also owns other quick service restaurant brands. The company has been franchising since 1995 and currently operates over 1,370 locations worldwide. The brand emphasizes its commitment to public safety through its Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which has provided over $100 million in equipment and resources to first responders in the U.S. and Canada.
