In 2025, Donatos Pizza launched several initiatives, including a partnership with The Ohio State University to pilot autonomous pizza delivery vehicles. The company also debuted its first fully autonomous, robot-operated restaurant at John Glenn Columbus International Airport. This location offers a 24/7, made-to-order pizza experience using robotics.
Donatos Pizza announced the hiring of Hayley Kianoff Satler as Director of Menu Innovation. According to the company, Satler will focus on leveraging consumer trends and insights to enhance menu offerings.
Recent and upcoming store openings were reported in Panama City, Florida; Washington, D.C.; and South Bend, Indiana. The company also indicated ongoing development activity in targeted East Coast and Southeastern markets.
