Crunchtime Launches New Data Analytics Solution for Restaurants
Crunchtime has launched Crunchtime Insights, a new analytics solution designed to centralize and analyze operations data for restaurant groups.
Crunchtime has announced the launch of Crunchtime Insights, a new analytics and data visualization tool for the restaurant industry. The solution is designed to centralize, correlate, and analyze operations data from multiple sources, providing a comprehensive view of operational performance.
Crunchtime Insights integrates data from various operational areas, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory, labor, task management, and audits. This integration allows restaurant operators to identify and address operational challenges more effectively. The tool provides a unified source of data, enabling users to make informed decisions based on a complete picture of their business operations.
The solution eliminates the need for manual data exports and fragmented systems by using report templates that automatically pull data from multiple sources. This approach helps restaurant brands scale their data infrastructure without requiring a dedicated data science team. The unified metrics view offers visualizations that allow users to analyze trends across their entire business and compare performance across different locations.
Crunchtime Insights also enables the creation of new data correlations, providing insights that were previously impossible. For instance, users can construct reports to explore how variations in food safety task completion rates impact overall sales or how audit score improvements affect sales over time. Additional correlations might include the impact of employee-facing technology on retention or the effect of automated temperature monitoring on food waste reduction.
In the coming year, Crunchtime plans to expand the data sources available in Crunchtime Insights to include training and kitchen throughput data. This expansion aims to provide even more comprehensive insights into restaurant operations.
Crunchtime software is currently utilized in over 150,000 locations across more than 100 countries, supporting various aspects of restaurant management, including inventory, staff scheduling, learning and development, food safety, operational tasks, and audits. The company recently expanded its offerings through a merger with QSR Automations, adding kitchen automation and guest management solutions to its portfolio.
Crunchtime's clients include major restaurant brands such as Chipotle, Culver's, Domino's, Dunkin', Five Guys, and P.F. Chang's.
