Crestview Partners Acquires Tailwind Hospitality From Palladin Consumer Retail Partners

Crestview Partners announced the completion of its acquisition of Tailwind Hospitality Inc., a company focused on food, beverage, and retail concessions in non-hub and regional airports, from Palladin Consumer Retail Partners.

Crestview is investing alongside AltitudeX Aviation Group and members of Tailwind’s existing management team. Jeff Switzer, President & CEO of Tailwind, will continue to lead the company. Crestview representatives and members of the AltitudeX team will join Tailwind’s Board of Directors alongside Jeff Switzer and independent former concessionaire leaders.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Wilmington, North Carolina, Tailwind Hospitality operates across multiple locations in the United States. The company provides custom offerings that combine locally tailored concepts with national brands.

Tailwind Hospitality currently operates:

- 160+ revenue centers in 60+ airports and train stations

- Predominantly in non-hub, primary, and regional airports and transit stations located throughout the United States

- In the majority of locations, is the sole concessionaire

Legal counsel for Crestview was provided by Greenberg Traurig LLP. Solomon Partners served as financial advisor and Latham & Watkins LLP served as legal counsel to Palladin and Tailwind.
